Diabetes Awareness Day represents the Coalition’s premier screening event of the year which is in partnership with the Riviera Beach City Council.

In addition to free diabetes risk assessments, A1c tests, and other health biomarker screenings. The community is invited to join the Coalition, its partners, and volunteers for a day of learning, while having fun. Activities include:

  • Partner Organization Booths with Resources and Educational Materials;
  • Tasty, Healthy, Edible Eats – featuring Chef Josef and the Breakers Palm Beach Team;
  • Rockin DJ/ Music;
  • Face Painting;
  • Fitness Express and
  • Visit the healthy Brain Bus and GAMECHANGER
